1:53pm Monday 18th August 2008

SOCIAL Care Professionals (SCP), specialist health and social care recruiter, is pleased to announce further growth and team expansion.

Karen Coghlan, managing director, is really excited about the company’s recent recruits.

She said: “We have recruited three excellent consultants who bring a full range of skills and experience from across the healthcare sector and customer services.

“Our new team members will only further our continued success providing new opportunities for our candidates and creative solutions for our clients.”

Already, this has enabled SCP to secure new support worker contracts with both charities and private providers of local support services.

Established in 2006, the company has continued to build an excellent reputation across the county and is pleased to confirm it has recently been successful in achieving Approved Supplier Status for local authority contracts.

Julie Estall, a director for the business, is thrilled to be able to continue this excellent working relationship as this ensures social workers and team managers still have a local-based recruiter which is professional and supportive in meeting their recruitment needs.

Julie said: “Social work has been a growth area for the business and is exceeding all expectations. Our new consultant Emma is a welcome resource to manage the growing demand.”

The company achieved a high-rating from its recent nurse agency inspection and it was praised on being a ‘good, well managed and professional service’ which operated ‘comprehensive and robust recruitment procedures’.

As a result, the company profile and client base has expanded and is now recruiting nurses with specialist skills for new interim and temporary contracts.

The permanent recruitment team has also seen significant growth and achieved a real market presence, enjoying regular client referral and praise for delivering permanent recruitment solutions at management level.
